Dear listener,
As you probably know we did the last Fresh Air! show no.10 in august last year. This was the last show we’ve published. The domain ‘freshairloungeseries.com’ has been kept active for you to be able to visit the shownotes and read what we’ve been playing on the podcast. We’ve decided to close down this domain now. All data and shownotes will be transferred to a subdomain of spacemusic.nl Information about this new subdomain will come to you via the Spacemusic podcast. It will be something like “freshair.spacemusic.nl” but we’re not sure yet. Please subscribe to the spacemusic podcast so you won’t miss important details. Of course there will be an announcement on the Spacemusic.nl website as soon as all data has been transferred.
If you have any more questions, please contact us and send an e-mail to Spacemusic. Do not send your message to Fresh Air! because no one will be able to read it anymore.
Thank you and see you in the other domain!

The first Fresh Air! show was published in februari 2007…. hi-quality lounge and downtempo has been the motto since then, electronic and acoustic music from all over the world. And it has been 10 very succesful shows with tons of good music by so many talented musicians and producers. Known artists and new talents have been kocking on our doors and they still do. Don’t stop! Please continue sending us your demo songs and albums as downtempo themed shows are in the lab….
Premiere on the podcast: the new “Cool Off Chillout volume 2″ - an absolutely amazing lounge album - to be released in september and already on our show! Responsible for this brand new release: SINE music from Württemberg, Germany. Artists like Polished Chrome and Thomas Lemmer. A must-have! Besides this sampler you’ll hear music from the “Diamonds and Pearls volume 2″ release, “Cosmic Chill Lounge”. Also the man with the diamond pair of ears is on today’s playlist: ielo featuring Eleana and their brand new single “Into You”. An uptempo surprise!!! Enjoy the party vibes and listen to exclusive remixes made possible by ‘The Velvethead Lounge‘ podcast. Some super downtempo tracks to wrap up the show, nonstop mix performed by TC, you should like this one.
a Big thanks to all musicians, producers and to our audience; you have been a great support during the past 31 months and hopefully you’ll tell others about our show as well. More lounge and downtempo entertainment via the regular Spacemusic.nl podcast feed. Cheers!

Hi Folks, thanks for your support, thanks for your listening. As you might have noticed, the Fresh Air! series is not updated with new shows as expected…. Sorry! It’s a matter of many different feelings, purposes and “why are we here???” To keep it simple, there’s simply no time and well deserved (payed) wellfare to continue this show. The amount of ‘Lounge, Downtempo, Chillout time…” music is simply….. AMAZING!!!! And we…??? Why do we not continue this podcast ???
Too many bands, too little time. As simple as that; what started as a ‘lounge’ dream, will have to ’stop’ right now. We simply can’t cope with all activities and have to get ‘priorities’ right. Fresh Air! Lounge Series will give birth to one more show….. show No.10. After that, the feed will cease to exist. Individual shows will be on the archives: Spacemusic.nl will take care.
More entertainment will be on Spacemusic.nl and the Spacemusic podcast. Subscribe for free via http://spacemusic.nl/feed

It’s good to be back online with the downtempo bag…Fresh Air! Lounge Series brings you a fine collection of the best lounge, downtempo and chillout music from all over the world. July 2009 and we’re in the middle of Summer; our journey starts with a track from the Above and Beyond album ‘Tri-State’ , still one of the favorites. A real premiere on this show: the new Merge of Equals album (also: featured on the Senseo Sundays podcast today) by Flavio Maspoli guarantees Electronica, Funk and Film. From France it’s StarKLounge dropping by with the beautiful ‘Leaf’ song, it’s typical French, it’s typical good! Speaking of which… iëlo has done e remix for Pat Appleton; his version of ‘What’s Next’ must be played at high volume, the man that has a pair of ears! We were inspired by the DJ Tocadisco song and found this 18 years old track by Bomb The Bass… “The Air You Breathe” still is a golden relaxer. In short: download the episode number 9, it should be on your iPod during Summer…

During the winter @ this moment we’re very busy with fulltime job and the Spacemusic podcast. Unfortunately there will be no new Fresh Air! podcast planned for this year 2008. But…. new shows are scheduled for next year 2009. We thought to deliver episode 6 till 10 in 2008… boy oh boy, what have we been wrong about that one… Sorry folks! You know how it feels when the agenda gets in the way and the things you’d love to do are under pressure? Well, Fresh Air! Lounge Series will continue when the time’s ready for it. No pressure because that’s NO good for the show. Fresh Air! podcasts are produced under chilled atmopheres only. Next year we plan a holiday. During that holiday we’ll continue the lounge experiences. We’ll do the show recordings LIVE from location. No escape possible… London/Paris maybe, or even better, New York…? Stay tuned friends of Lounge and Downtempo tunes. We love you!

HAVE A GREAT WINTER SEASON AND HAPPY NEW YEAR 2009 !!!!

First of all, a big thanks to our listeners! You have found the way to subscription you could say; the amount of downloads is beyond any expectation. You must like the music on the Fresh Air! podcast.
Today we received an answer to our questions regarding the bandwidth issue our site/content causes:
“Because it is not fair to other people who paid and are wanting to use their services. If one site is taking up all the resources, we have no choice but the suspend that one site. That’s why we have resource limit set in place”
It’s clear to us that our hosting company at this moment is not able/willing to come up with a solution even though we’ve offered extra payments each month. Therefore the Fresh Air! audio files need to be moved to another server (again!) and we need to setup a new account. This time hopefully without any limitation! You may notice some funny things within the Fresh Air! podcast feed perhaps while we’re busy so please bear with us. Thanks!

Today the same problem again after 20 days: the Fresh Air! website was taken offline again like in June 2008 by our hosting company. Funny thing is the last time it happened it had to do with their servers as they had confirmed via e-mail. Only this time the answer from the admin / Lead Associate was a bit different and set some sort of tone to all this:
“I gave you more bandwidth but you need to look at our terms - Your site is in violation and you will not be able to host with us”
Welcome to our company, now please leave - is our translation but perhaps we need to read between the lines a bit better? So much for ‘Unlimited Bandwidth’ and so much for ‘Unlimited Hosting Space’ ?
Up next is I will contact them again. Is it money that has to be paid? We’re willing to pay for bandwidth so why don’t they offer that? Why scaring us away like this? We’ve read the terms. We’ve read it at least three times. We’ve uploaded 6 audio files. We do no harm, we’re no evil. We’ve got a very wide audience so large amount of downloads. Is that against the rules? Or maybe advertising with text like ‘Unlimited Bandwidth’ is a bit unfair?
Fresh Air! is about a podcast. We’ve told them that after the first time we had been taken offline. No problems heard about it. So what’s with the ‘violation’ all of sudden?
Stay tuned for details later. If Fresh Air! is to be taken offline again, please head over to the Spacemusic website for the latest news. Thanks for your support!
