During the winter @ this moment we’re very busy with fulltime job and the Spacemusic podcast. Unfortunately there will be no new Fresh Air! podcast planned for this year 2008. But…. new shows are scheduled for next year 2009. We thought to deliver episode 6 till 10 in 2008… boy oh boy, what have we been wrong about that one… Sorry folks! You know how it feels when the agenda gets in the way and the things you’d love to do are under pressure? Well, Fresh Air! Lounge Series will continue when the time’s ready for it. No pressure because that’s NO good for the show. Fresh Air! podcasts are produced under chilled atmopheres only. Next year we plan a holiday. During that holiday we’ll continue the lounge experiences. We’ll do the show recordings LIVE from location. No escape possible… London/Paris maybe, or even better, New York…? Stay tuned friends of Lounge and Downtempo tunes. We love you!

HAVE A GREAT WINTER SEASON AND HAPPY NEW YEAR 2009 !!!!

First of all, a big thanks to our listeners! You have found the way to subscription you could say; the amount of downloads is beyond any expectation. You must like the music on the Fresh Air! podcast.
Today we received an answer to our questions regarding the bandwidth issue our site/content causes:
“Because it is not fair to other people who paid and are wanting to use their services. If one site is taking up all the resources, we have no choice but the suspend that one site. That’s why we have resource limit set in place”
It’s clear to us that our hosting company at this moment is not able/willing to come up with a solution even though we’ve offered extra payments each month. Therefore the Fresh Air! audio files need to be moved to another server (again!) and we need to setup a new account. This time hopefully without any limitation! You may notice some funny things within the Fresh Air! podcast feed perhaps while we’re busy so please bear with us. Thanks!

Today the same problem again after 20 days: the Fresh Air! website was taken offline again like in June 2008 by our hosting company. Funny thing is the last time it happened it had to do with their servers as they had confirmed via e-mail. Only this time the answer from the admin / Lead Associate was a bit different and set some sort of tone to all this:
“I gave you more bandwidth but you need to look at our terms - Your site is in violation and you will not be able to host with us”
Welcome to our company, now please leave - is our translation but perhaps we need to read between the lines a bit better? So much for ‘Unlimited Bandwidth’ and so much for ‘Unlimited Hosting Space’ ?
Up next is I will contact them again. Is it money that has to be paid? We’re willing to pay for bandwidth so why don’t they offer that? Why scaring us away like this? We’ve read the terms. We’ve read it at least three times. We’ve uploaded 6 audio files. We do no harm, we’re no evil. We’ve got a very wide audience so large amount of downloads. Is that against the rules? Or maybe advertising with text like ‘Unlimited Bandwidth’ is a bit unfair?
Fresh Air! is about a podcast. We’ve told them that after the first time we had been taken offline. No problems heard about it. So what’s with the ‘violation’ all of sudden?
Stay tuned for details later. If Fresh Air! is to be taken offline again, please head over to the Spacemusic website for the latest news. Thanks for your support!

June 16th 2008 - it’s good to be back online with the Fresh Air! Lounge Series. This time via it’s own space, it’s own feed. We’ve been waiting a long time for this moment isn’t it? Plenty of excellent lounge and downtempo music on today’s show. The theme for today: “Cross That Line” = 100% inspired by this great band called ‘SINE’, they drop by with the theme song “Cross That Line”; The Man In The Moon answers that crossing with the beautiful Deborah on the microphone. Of course we stop @ the beach this season with Sunburn in Cyprus; already in the mood for some serious chillin’? Have some Mindsoup to relax and sit under the Marula Tree to see Michael E perform……always “Beware of my Love” and say hi to Soulcraft, some “Statements” by 4Tunes and then our Fresh Air! special for this episode: Lisa Shaw with 2 wonderful tracks you should simply buy right away! Lucie Burns is featuring and feeling “Good Inside” with Terrafunka, hopefully more productions by these two wizards soon. The “Vintage Keys” by DigiTube tells us a story and plays the piano well so that we can read through the tracklist at last. One more thing: the final song for Fresh Air! podcast #6 is done by Michael E. - probably one of the best downtempo tracks we’ve heard in a long time. “She’s Hypnotic” really gives us goose pimps every time we hear it, well done Michael!
Have a great show everybody and thank you for doing the poll!
